Work organization and productivity techniques and tools

The assessment of the activity or work rhythm is essential in the determination of production times by timing, in order to stabilise the variance in the time taken to do the work, as a result of the performance by the worker in terms of their skill and intensity of movements.

In this course on Activity Assessment, the ability to assess objectively the activity that a worker carries out at any given moment during the execution of a task is acquired and maintained throughout the working life of the timing technician, through periodic intensive practice in the assessment of the work rhythms with which different people work, in the execution of tasks that reproduce the most common movements in the majority of jobs in industry, by means of video recordings of these tasks.
