A promise is a promise and that is why we are starting 2021 loaded with new features to continue helping our customers to improve their productivity.
This new year invites us to continue thinking about how to make the most of the already available resources, optimising their use.
In Itemsa we believe in ethical productivity, thought, created and developed so that everyone can feel how the changes benefit them as well as the company. To achieve this, it is necessary to generate and consolidate a cultural change that reinforces values and empowers the team; and that requires a genuine commitment that will allow to reach new efficient solutions.
In a scenario where people’s concern is a constant, ethical productivity emerges as the best answer. In Itemsa we are specialists in accompanying the implementation of projects to improve productivity, increase added value and increase flexibility. We provoke the cultural change that your organization needs from what you already have, in a Lean and Industry 4.0 environment.
By promoting these values, we generate the cultural transformation within your company. And we do it from the heart of the productive structure. Because when we start working together, we become part of your company. We commit ourselves to your project, we collaborate as a team and the manufacturing processes and supply chain become more efficient.

Now it is our turn to think about new possibilities and strategies. That is why we are starting the year full of news:
- We are launching a new MTM-SAM course, the first to be held in Spain.
MTM-SAM is part of the Methodological Platform of IMD-EWD (International Motion Time Measurement Development – Ethical Work Design) institution of which our general director David Calvo is the Technical Coordinator.
This predetermined times system, based exclusively on MTM-1 and MTM-2 and developed, in 1982, by the Technical Committee of the Swedish Organization for Efficiency allows. As its name indicates (Sequence-based Activity and Method analysis), to make a sequential analysis of the working methods, so that this analysis is developed according to how the work is developed being, in addition, 30% faster than MTM-UAS. - We have closed a collaboration agreement with the UPM (Metallurgical Employers’ Union), which we will soon present, with various initiatives; the first of which will be a modular training programme in MTM for its members and associates and which we will extend to other groups.
- Very soon we will present the two new functionalities for the improvement of productivity that we have developed for our software APPRODUCTIVITY4.0: SMED and Analysis and Improvement of Working Methods.
