Boosting the 3 basic pillars of the Workshop (5’S + operations standardisation + multi-skilled workers).

Work organization and productivity techniques and tools

A strong workshop is the basis for success in improving the results of any production system (regarding quality, cost, delivery time and safety).

The optimisation of the three pillars (5'S + operations standardisation + multi-skilled workers) will allow the most effective and efficient interrelation of each of the 4 M's (Manpower, Materials, Machines and Working Methods).

The strengthening of the three pillars, together with the corresponding results control and visual information, are the key to an effective implementation and to the progress of a work system that favours the continuous and systematic elimination of wastage (Mudas).

The objectives of the Boosting the 3 basic pillars of the Workshop course are:

The goal of this course “Promotion of the 3 basic pillars of the Workshop” is to achieve the following:

  3. Through the implementation of these pillars, it is possible to achieve the following:
    1. Reduce production costs.
    2. Achieve a more comfortable, ergonomic and safe working environment.
