Introduction to the Lean Manufacturing System

Competitiveness strategies

How to ensure a streamlined, tightly-knit, and flexible production flow, tending to “piece by piece”, in your plants:

  • Removing or reducing the waste produced by the 4M (material, machinery, manpower and method).
  • Performing a total productive maintenance (TPM).
  • Minimizing the model changeover times -Single Minute Exchange Die- (SMED)
  • Optimizing work methods and times by applying the MTM, in a cultural environment of continuous improvement.

Nowadays, companies aiming to enhance their competitive position require a qualitative leap in their internal management and the Lean Manufacturing system provides management procedures that identify and eliminate or reduce  any type of waste (muda) in line with a strategic plan (objective), using the most suitable continuous improvement tools for each case.
