We incorporate the new ACBOER training (Calculation of allowances based on ergonomic requirements) to our catalogue of courses. ACBOER is the new allowance calculation system developed and patented by Itemsa.
What is the conventional procedure for calculating allowances?
The conventional system of calculation is carried out through two different ways, the first is the ergonomic study carried out by the Occupational Risk Prevention Technicians and the second is the one carried out by the Process Technicians when they carry out Methods and Time Studies.
In other words, on the one hand, the legal obligation of the ergonomic study is fulfilled to validate the working conditions for a specific task. And, on the other hand, this study is carried out independently to define the standard time allocated to the task, taking into account the different physical and mental loads and conditions and calculating the necessary time for recovery and to attend to personal needs.
What is ACBOER or Allowance Calculation Based On Ergonomic Requirements?
ACBOER or Allowance Calculation Based On Ergonomic Requirements is the new system for calculating fatigue recovery time and personal attendance needs, developed and patented by Itemsa.
This new method optimises the process by reducing the need for a second parallel study as it has been the case until now. ACBOER means an innovation in this process by basing the calculation to determine allowances (personal needs and fatigue) exclusively on the study of ergonomic risks required by legal obligation. In this way, ACBOER allows to optimise the methods and time technicians’ productivity, as well as to promote the improvement of ergonomic conditions.
The conventional calculation involves both systems, which are carried out in parallel. Itemsa‘s project, led by our Technical Director, Albert Calvo, has developed an innovative system that integrates them both and is based on the calculation of allowance from the ergonomic risk assessment.
Why an ACBOER specific training
The primary benefit of this new calculation method is its ability to improve productivity for companies. This is the reason why we have launched the new ACBOER allowance calculation system training . We have incorporated this new ACBOER training into our catalogue of courses, as companies of all sectors and sizes can benefit from the application of this system for calculating rest coefficients.
ACBOER or Allowance Calculation Based On Ergonomics Requirements has as its main innovation the optimisation of the calculation process as it is not necessary to carry out the second of the studies as the calculation is based on the ergonomic study that must always be carried out to validate the conditions of the workplace for the execution of a specific task.
Improving productivity through innovation
This new system, which allows fatigue recovery to be calculated more efficiently and optimally for the Methods and Times technicians, can be applied to any company, regardless of its size, sector of activity or form of organisation. This project has been conceived from Itemsa‘s core principle as productivity improvement specialists: a tool for improving and optimising the efficiency and productivity of companies.
As we have always maintained, innovation is about making the most of the resources we have as a company in the most optimal way. ACBOER is a case in point, as it allows us to reduce the workload, time required for execution and resources used in this task by taking advantage of the ergonomic study carried out by occupational risk prevention technicians.
Training in the new ACBOER system for allowance calculation allows us to add value and improve the performance of companies by teaching new tools, methods and techniques that allow us to optimise and improve the performance of processes, contributing to the consolidation and reinforcement of the continuous improvement culture and the improvement of the productivity of companies.
