At Itemsa we have been involved for the last 35 years in Method and Time Management (MTM) consultancy projects, productivity improvement services and other areas that ensure tangible results in the short term for our clients. We were pioneers in MTM in Spain and in the international MTM-Summit 2023 congress, in which we have participated, we have reached an agreement to become the responsible Partner of One-MTM in Spain.

35 years ensuring performance

Our company was founded in 1988 as Instituto Técnico Especializado en MTM, S.A. (ITEMSA), being pioneers in the implementation of MTM techniques and training in Spain. In 1990 we co-founded the Spanish MTM Association. We were also for years part of the MTM-EWD (International Motion Time Measurement Development – Ethical Work Design), in which we held executive positions, and now, after over a year as a member of One-MTM, we have become the responsible Partner of One-MTM (the only worldwide accredited organisation) in Spain.

Itemsa is therefore exclusively authorised to conduct official and certified MTM and EAWS training in accordance with the global MTM standard, taking into account the registered trademarks for the MTM systems: MTM-1®, MTM-2®, MTM-UAS®, MTM-MEK®, MTM-HWD®, MTM-SD®, MTM-LOG® and EAWS®.

As a result of our wide-ranging experience over these 35 years, we maintain and continuously optimize results with successful implementations aimed at the reduction of unit costs in order to improve the profitability of our clients’ processes and projects. We also support them in training their teams.

MTM SUMMIT 2023

The MTM SUMMIT 2023 international congress, held on 18 and 19 October in Hamburg, is organised by the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. and more than 150 people attended onsite and more than 600 online. Taking the most important event of the sector, Itemsa has reinforced its position becoming the responsible Partner of One-MTM in Spain.

This international summit, focused on the MTM Methodology, is a great opportunity to be aware of the latest developments and innovations, as well as its business applications, its digital and global implication. This year, MTM and IE experts from leading companies such as Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, SICK, Daimler Truck and Volkswagen shared their best MTM practices applied in their industries with us.

This international event gathers the leading MTM experts and deals with the method and the digital future of MTM, highlighting real applications and real success cases in the obtaining of data on execution times and work management, with ergonomics and digital planning of processes as the key factors.

MTM is part of Itemsa

Itemsa has always been in close collaboration with MTM. We started as a company dedicated to MTM training, industrial consultancy and with the purpose of providing other professional services focused on the improvement of companies’ productivity, always with a clear focus on introducing and promoting the implementation of MTM in Spain. We were also pioneers in the co-founding of the Spanish MTM Association, our membership of MTM-EWD and being part of One-MTM as an associate Partner and, from now on, as the exclusive Partner in Spain. And we have also been pioneers in creating a software focused on the improvement of competitiveness, processes and outcomes of the companies that use it, as well as integrating MTM solutions into it: APPRODUCTIVITY 4.0.

 

 

One-MTM is an international network that promotes and collaborates to encourage and apply, in companies worldwide, MTM systems in a standardized way and through this partnership between Itemsa and One-MTM, we can ensure our customers the services we offer in this area:

Specialized MTM training is one of the main fields we work in, providing the first MTM E-Learning platform in Spanish, which allows us to adapt the entire training to the individual needs and timings of students and companies.

As a member of One-MTM, the Itemsa training enables you to obtain the Blue Card Certification and has an International Certification.
